Secondary Assistance Scheme 2024

The Secondary Assistance Scheme (SAS) is to assist low-income families with secondary schooling costs for students in Year 7 to 12 who are studying a full-time secondarycourse at a Western Australian public school. Parents/Guardians must apply for the SAS each school year (annually) – applications do not carry forward to future years.

SAS is made up of two allowances:

• $115 Clothing Allowance (CLA) paid directly to the parent/guardian or the school; and
• $235 Educational Program Allowance (EPA) paid directly to the school.

Parents/Guardians must meet the eligibility criteria before applying. Completed applications will be verified and witnessed at the school.
